Hershey vector fonts

The sample handwriting in our demo accounts and App Store screenshots is drawn with the Hershey vector fonts. They are not part of the app. Everything you write in NotTyped is captured stroke by stroke from your own hand, and nothing here is ever rendered from a font.

The Hershey Fonts were originally created by Dr. A. V. Hershey while working at the U. S. National Bureau of Standards. The format of the font data we use was originally created by James Hurt, Cognition, Inc., 900 Technology Park Drive, Billerica, MA 01821.

We read that data through the HersheyFonts Python package by Attila Kolinger, which is MIT licensed.
