How do I write a note?
Tap the pencil button and write one word at a time on the canvas, using your finger, an Apple Pencil, or any stylus. Tap the checkmark to confirm each word; NotTyped handles the spacing and line wrapping. (A word, a few characters, a number: whatever you write before confirming stays together.) When you're done, post it.
How do I watch a note being written?
Open a note and tap the play button at the right end of the row under it. The note writes itself stroke by stroke, with the sound of a pencil. Tap it again to stop. The sound follows your silent switch.
How do I share a note?
Tap the Share button on a note and pick a format: Portrait or Square for an image, or Video for a video of the note being written. Then save it, or send it to any app. Notes from a private account can only be shared by the person who wrote them.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account Actions → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, and your data is deleted within 30 days. If one of your notes or comments went through moderation review, we keep that record with your name removed (see the Privacy Policy).
How do I report content?
Tap the Report button on any note or comment and choose a reason. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our moderation team.
How do I block someone?
Open the menu on a user's profile or one of their notes and choose Block. You can review and manage blocked accounts under Settings → Safety → Blocked users.
How do I make my account private?
Turn on Settings → Privacy → Private account. When your account is private, only approved followers can see your notes.
